GREENTURTLES FOR CONSULTANTS
Help fleet-owning businesses understand the carbon behind their vehicles — with transparent estimates and a useful starting point for better decisions.
GreenTurtles’ fleet carbon features are free when your clients use Fleetgenius with GreenTurtles. You provide the professional advice. We provide the fleet-focused data and reporting tools. Together, we can make the next conversation more useful.
Designed for UK sustainability advisers working with business fleets, particularly clients operating 40 or more vehicles. Enquiring does not create an account or commit you to a paid service.
START WITH CLARITY
Your clients should be able to see what is recorded, what is estimated and where a default has been used. That is the principle behind the free GreenTurtles carbon features in Fleetgenius.
Annual fleet estimates
View annual vehicle carbon estimates based on distance and applicable calculation factors. These are estimates, not readings of actual fuel or electricity consumed.
Visible method
Distinguish contracted mileage, odometer-derived mileage and any named default, so an assumption is never hidden.
Monthly snapshots
Create a monthly baseline. A year-on-year change should not be claimed until a suitable historic comparison exists.
Self-assessed Standard
GreenTurtle Standard tiers are self-assessed and linked to defined fleet characteristics. They are not an independent audit, third-party certificate or carbon-neutrality claim.
The v1 calculation is distance-based and does not include every source of fleet-related emissions. See the methodology for powertrain treatment, included electricity emissions, factors and exclusions.
BUILT FOR CONSULTANTS
Sustainability advisers are expected to explain company carbon figures, support tenders and recommend credible improvements. For businesses with service vans, delivery vehicles or multi-site operations, fleet information can be one of the harder parts of that task.
Vehicle-heavy service operations, recurring site visits and mixed petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric fleets.
Vans, pickups, regional teams and complex transport-related reporting questions.
Practical discussions about vehicle mix, annual mileage and operational changes.
A repeatable fleet-focused starting point to support broader consultancy work.
A 40+ vehicle fleet is our initial commercial focus, not a minimum limit for using GreenTurtles Free.
AN ADDITION TO YOUR TOOLKIT
Explain the free Fleetgenius-connected carbon features before asking a business to invest in specialist software or extra services.
Use transparent vehicle estimates and mileage sources to identify where better evidence is needed.
Your consulting expertise remains your own. Any introductions, permissions and commercial arrangements should be agreed transparently with the client.
When a client needs operational fleet intelligence, Fleetgenius can provide further options. When they need wider company carbon consultancy, that remains your professional territory.
SIMPLE TO EXPLORE
Send a short enquiry about your consultancy, sectors and the fleets you typically advise.
We discuss the free offer, boundaries, any paid options and how client introductions could work.
Where the client agrees, we help them understand the GreenTurtles/Fleetgenius starting point and the data needed.
Use the available carbon estimates and transparent methods as inputs to your own advice. Agree any next steps or specialist services separately.
During the initial programme, onboarding is assisted rather than instant, and the enquiry form does not open a live consultant dashboard.
WHAT’S AVAILABLE
These are core/free functions as currently described by GreenTurtles. Paid Fleetgenius add-ons may be offered separately. Product availability, limits and verification routes must be confirmed against the current live service.
These are roadmap possibilities, not features promised as live today.
BUILT FOR TWO-WAY VALUE
We want to work with independent consultants who are actively helping companies improve environmental performance. The aim is a practical exchange of expertise and appropriate introductions — not to replace your role or resell a generic carbon platform.
You help us reach fleet-owning clients who could benefit from free reporting and Fleetgenius intelligence.
We can introduce businesses that need wider company carbon accounting, environmental management or professional sustainability advice to suitable consultants.
Introductions are made with appropriate customer consent. Partner responsibilities, any referral payments and customer protections are agreed separately in writing. Participation is proposed as non-exclusive.
MEET THE GREENTURTLES

Trace
Where did the distance and carbon estimate come from? What is measured, inferred or defaulted?

Kinetic
Which journeys are worth reviewing? What should be tracked before claiming an improvement?

Torque
How do vehicle choice, fuel, electricity and usage affect the estimate? Zero tailpipe does not mean zero carbon.

Terra
What does the baseline show, and which claims can be supported today?
The characters explain principles, not four separate live software products. No automatic route-optimisation capability is implied by Kinetic.
There is no charge to enquire about the initial consultant programme. GreenTurtles’ specified fleet-carbon features are free when a client uses Fleetgenius with GreenTurtles. Any professional advisory work, paid Fleetgenius extras and future partner software arrangements are separate.
No. Our initial outreach prioritises consultancies serving businesses with 40 or more vehicles because the operational need is often substantial. The free fleet-carbon entry offer is not limited to that fleet size.
A dedicated multi-client consultant dashboard is a proposed development, not a feature we currently promise. We will explain the current onboarding process during a partnership conversation.
The vehicle estimates can help explain a fleet component, subject to checking methodology, data quality, accounting boundaries and double-counting with the wider reporting approach. They are not a complete Scope 1–3 organisational inventory or a substitute for measured energy data where required.
No. It is a self-assessed standard with published rules. It is not an independent audit or third-party certification.
No. They are zero-tailpipe in operation, but the calculation includes an allowance for grid electricity. Relevant lifecycle and upstream boundaries are explained separately in the methodology.
No. GreenTurtles helps establish an understandable starting point and evidence for further decisions. Any claimed reduction needs the appropriate baseline and supporting data.
Client contact and any commercial introductions must be authorised and transparent. We want an agreed referral and relationship framework that respects the consultant’s role. Specific protections belong in a written partner agreement.
Commercial terms can be discussed for qualifying introductions to paid services. There is no published commission entitlement or guaranteed referral income under the initial enquiry programme.
No. Applying starts a conversation. We will explain onboarding, available free features, data permissions and any paid options before a client makes a decision.
